Privacy policy

Sessions

When you start a session, microphone audio, and on Mac optionally system audio and a captured screen, are streamed from your device to OpenAI's Realtime API to produce transcripts and answers. Attachments you add are sent as context. Sessions run only while you keep them running.

OpenAI processes this under its API data policies. Arte Soft does not control OpenAI's retention.

Our backend

To let your device talk to the model, the app's backend at assistant-api.wonek.com issues short-lived session secrets. To do that it keeps an account for you, created silently from your device or through Sign in with Apple, and stores purchases, credit balances, usage records with token counts, session identifiers and titles, device push tokens and diagnostic metadata. It does not receive or store your audio, transcripts, answers or attachments.

On your device

Transcripts, answers, sessions, projects, tasks, notes, schedules and attachments are stored on the device. Local models on Mac process audio and text on the machine. There is no cloud sync.

Permissions

The app asks for the microphone, and, when you use those features, the camera, Photos, speech recognition and, on Mac, screen capture. It asks for notifications to deliver scheduled reminders.

Other people

Sessions may capture other people's speech. You are responsible for obtaining any permission the law or your organisation requires before recording or assisting in a conversation.

Purchases

Subscriptions and credit packs are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple handles payment; we receive transaction records to grant credits, never your card details.

Sharing

Beyond OpenAI as the model provider and Apple for purchases, Arte Soft does not sell or share personal information. Information may be disclosed where the law requires it.

Your control

Delete sessions, tasks and notes in the app. Revoke permissions in Settings. Cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings. Ask for your backend account to be deleted at the address below.
